Who know what would have happened. Sure I wish that Santorum would have endorsed Newt in Florida and have Newt endorse Santorum in Ohio, Michigan and Illinois, but it didn’t happen. I am now completely afraid that we ALL are going to be disappointed in the nomination. Quite frankly, it is a shame that what is going to get us back “as one” is having the worst nominee out of all of them.

Can you tell me what you think of these 2 things: Newt going all the way to the convention, which Newt has said he will do. I don't think I've heard Santorum say that, he may have.

and 2) Newt and Santorum forming some sort of alliance. Would that be at all effective against Romney?

Truth is elections are not won in a vaccuum.

Romeny has been running for years now.

He has all the money in the world, lots of organization and does not suffer from all the problems that the other two candidates have as far as running a campaign goes.

It's hardly a surprise that the guy with all the money, the willingness to go negative forever, and do most of the right things won.

You could have replaced Romney with anyone of a dozen or so other pubbies and the result would have been the same. Now our choice is to keep whining or get behind the nominee in order to try and salvage what's left of the country. Not for us but for our kids.
