“Who said anything about funding?”

So you concede then that the state has no constitutional right to provide abortion funding to any entity that operates in the state. Yes or no?

“A state deciding whether or not abortion is legal is not funding it.”

Do you know of any state that at present permits abortion that does not also fund abortion in some way, shape or form?

“States should be able to decide for themselves whether or not abortion should be legal within the confines of that state.”

Then you should have no problem finding the relevant portion of the constitution which says just this.

Considering I’ve never advocated it in a post, this is a rather odd tact. But if you want to play this game, then so be it. If a state decides to permit abortions within its borders as a legal procedure, then it’s more than likely that they will fund it in some as well for the poor. Again, this is a state issue. If the citizens of a state wish to fund something that is legal in their state, then so be it. If citizens get together and put a measure on the ballot to not fund abortion but keep it legal, then so be it. It’s up to the state and the people within the state to decide the matter, not you (unless you live in that state) and certainly not the federal government.

Yeah, it’s called the 10th Amendment. I will even quote it for you since you seem to have a problem with the Constitution. - “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
