Ahh, my apologies. I missed that.

It's all good.

I’m not sure why inquiring about your candidate counts as an accusation.

Oh, it just seems to be common on here. If one criticizes Santorum, they get labeled a MittBot or a PaulBot.

So what’s the plan here? Do you expect Newt to overtake Santorum, or what?

My hope is that they'll be smart and exercise a joint strategy to tag-team Romney. It's looking unlikely that Santorum can take on Romney solo and win in the long-term.

Even if they don’t work together overtly (as I wish they would), just staying in will deprive Romney of some delegates. The viable options at this point are A) Romney or B) Open Convention.

Well, from what I understand of Illinois, it’s WTA by congressional district.

If the object is to deny Romney delegates, I can’t see how the current strategy is at all effective in stopping him in Illinois. Seems to me, since Santorum is far ahead of Newt, that a tag team would tag in Santorum and push him in Illinois.

Then you’d break most of the congressional districts outside of Chicago for Santorum rather than Newt.
