If it's my tax dollars paying for it, yeah it is my business.

But, the point of my post was. Do you think that people who are staying at the same hotel are not twitting, or posting it on facebook?

Everyone (practically) post everything they are doing, saying, seeing, especially on vacation. If you don't want people talking about where your kid is staying, then don't let them go there.

And, quite frankly I'm tired of my tax dollars paying for the wife, and kiddies to be taking all these people all over the world sometimes on MY dime.

I haven't had a vacation in over 14 years. All they do is vacation.

To your point, there’s a difference between an individual tweeting about what they see and the press publishing security details for an international audience.
