I do not see any incentive for the police to cover for Zimmerman. What do they possibly have to gain?
Edited only to the extent that they bleeped the "a" word but that left open the interpretation that it was the "n" word. If there is a cover-up, it is of the incompetence of the initial investigation. FLDE has the ball now and I'd be amazed if this one wasn't presented to the grand jury. Given the cops had the 9-1-1 calls they should have quickly realized the shooting was not justified under F.S.
