I’ll tell you how its going to happen. The 1stMarDiv and 3rd MAW will not be in the fight. They’ll be engaged in a foreign war, or they’ll be sitting and waiting to see how this shakes out. Obama’s loyal forces will not attack the military or its families. He will promise them things not available to the general public and most of them will decide that a military coup is not the best idea at this time. Some will rise up, but will be made examples of and the rest will go along with their paychecks and family’s benefits.
Remember, this all happens after a long process of demonizing the patriot movement, including some false flag ops to paint it as domestic terrorists and violent racists. It will also be after the economic collapse where giving up a paycheck to fight for something abstract like freedom is not going to be an easy choice. There could even be a false flag op to attempt an assassination of Obama to stir up the racial divides.
If you choose to give me a title, call me “historian” and not “General”. This is just a repeat of how these changes in the other European nations have occurred since the beginnings of communism/fascism/national socialism. It may even be worse here than in other nations in history because our military and police contain a lot of people from third world nations and people who have a strong allegiance to nations/continents other than the USA. They believe that they are oppressed by the people of the United States and they will think themselves freedom fighters by fighting against the people for Obama.
Sounds like you’re trying to write fiction, but you don’t have the plot figured out yet.
First you say obuma’s “forces” won’t attack the military, but they’ll make “examples” of miltary members.
Who are obuma’s “forces?” Let me guess: Pedro the roofer will join with the 50 ChiComm divisions hiding in the Texas sagebrush.
How will these “forces” make it past the perimeter to “make examples” of those who “rise up.” How will obuma’s clowns make their getaway after they “make examples?” Where will they run?
If you had even a mediocre understanding of history and the military culture, you could have come up with a better fictional plot.
