Every good teacher who loves their subject turns it into edu-tainment. Franklin could do that, and Reagan. And Newt, of course.

I was just thinking that the secret to Reagan's success was his reputation as "the Great Communicator" -- which was sadly missing from the Dubya years. Newt is a lot more sharp-edged than the genial Reagan, but in this situation, he needs to be. And I agree -- we really need a great communicator again.

Great Communicators through the ages have been historically silenced by the Pharisees of their time.

They would burn Newt at the stake if they could. Or crucify him.

They control the media, so all they have to do, so far, is make sure he doesn’t get heard.
