But in the last twenty years the percentage of the population who own guns has risen, the percentage who support the 2nd Amendment has risen, loads of shall-issue CCL laws and Castle Doctrine laws have been passed and last but far from least the number of firearms in private hands has soared phenomenally. By all objective measures they are losing the war. Spectacularly!
You are correct. I believe that we started winning when enough new media came into existence to make a difference. The inflection point was likely when the Reagan administration did away with the "fairness" doctrine.
