I can tell you that 3rd parties are relatively ineffective from personal experience onyx. Up here parties outside the Liberals, Conservatives and NDP have very little influence.

But what category would a primary challenge to a republican president in 2016 fall into? Would it be a 3rd party or a movement in the GOP? that is what's not clear to me..
