My daughter donates blood a lot and she has a friend who is gay and unable to donate. She was telling me how upset he was because he was unable to donate and I tried to explain it to her but she went on and on how unfair he felt it was
and I told her he needed to get a grip. I really do not get why he was so upset unless he felt bad about himself and excluded somehow I have no idea and I found it odd.

Why would anyone want to have a friend who is homosexual?

Obviously, their “right” to self esteem trumps everyone else’s right to life. And if you say otherwise, you’re a homophobic bigot.
Any infections caused by this new policy will be swept under the rug by the Medical establishment and the MSM.

The answer's in bold. It is all narcissism. Keeping their feeeelings from being hurt is worth more than inflicting death and suffering on untold numbers of other people. If your daughter's friend could get over himself for a few minutes, he might avail himself of logic and understand the ban.
