Charged with Impersonating an Actor for his last couple of movies...
The old fudge-packer must have been feeling ignored.
lol....he was at the state dinner the other night.
Who cares?
Hmmmm. He recently attended a state dinner at the White House. I beleive he had Moochelle’s ear the entire time. I read an article about him not having a date so Moochelle subbed.
Big Whoop.
This is good for Mr. Clooney, but won’t make a damned bit of difference for The Sudan.
“I’m famous, therefore, I’m smart!”
Guess they weren’t kidding when they said SS can arrest you anytime, anywhere.
What was he protesting? Is he not happy that there are still Christians in the Sudan or that the Muslims are not killing them fast enough? Does he want the US to go in and help prop up another Islamic state?
The Sudan crisis??? Where did I put my scorecard?
“Do - not - seek - the - treasure”.....
I’m wondering if that’s this new anti-public protest law.
Hmmm.
Let’s see, George Clooney is willing to get arrested by the US government vs Christian Bale was willing to be arrested by the Chinese government.
Who would win in this contest of bravery?
Remember when people protesting at the Cuban Interest Section when the Elian Gonzelez debacle was going on? Castro’s goons came off the property and beat the bleep out of them. The Secret Service stood by and did nothing. But Clooney got plenty of Police Protection. Go protest in Darfur.
He really isn’t that great an actor. He’s just good-looking. I loved O Brother Where Art Thou, except for his wooden performance. Everyone else was great, especially John Turturro. When an olive-complected Italian can make you believe he is a redneck, that is great acting. Also Tim Blake Nelson, a Jewish guy, perfect in the role of country-boy Delmar; and another Italian, Michael Badalucco, as the manic-depressive Pretty Boy George — stunning. Not even to mention the astounding performances of Charles Durning and John Goodman. The fly in the ointment was Clooney.
Media whore!
Well he got what he wanted. Attention.
The photographer on the right looks like a pro; but the guy in the blue jacket on the left -- who had the best vantage point -- could be either a pro or an amateur. Look for his image capture in the grocery line next week!
Sounds like quite a few politicians were arrested, too.
Clooney was supposed to be wooden and stoic, thence the humor in the movie.
Having said that, he has no more range than Pacino.
