An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.1 hit east of Tokyo on Wednesday but no tsunami warning was issued and there were no initial reports of damage or troubles at area nuclear plants, the Japan Meteorological Agency and local media said.
The earthquake, which caused substantial shaking in Ibaragi and Chiba prefectures east of Tokyo, followed just a few hours after a magnitude 6.8 quake jolted northern Japan.

Well, you never know if 2 tons of concrete are going to come crashing down on you and its curtains, or worse you would be stuck under there for a few days while people tried to get to you and your heart would just give out, so best to be on good terms with God every live long day, as far as I can see, take human precautions, and leave the rest up to Him for safety. Nobody never knows the hour or circumstances. I am not particularly afraid I guess, because I know that "on the other side", there is something magnificent waiting and people I have waited a long time to see and so far I have been blessed to do so much in my life. Still I'd to go for many more revolutions around the sun on this little cosmic pebble.
It rattled things around in my place pretty good, but it was only about a 3-mag in Tokyo. Still, I totally agree with everything you wrote.
The anniversary has everyone on pins and needles.
