Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday laughed at Democrats for having tried to use the radio hosts now-infamous slut comment to their political advantage, gloating about recent polls showing President Barack Obamas approval numbers tanking while taunting, They thought I was finished.
Remember, one week ago, they thought it was over. One week ago, they thought for one day, there was a Santa Claus. Normally, they dont believe in Santa Claus, but they did, Limbaugh said at the beginning of his three-hour afternoon show. They thought I was finished. They thought you [the listeners] were vanquished, and Obama was elevated to heights that would make him unbeatable.
He added, And dont doubt me when I tell you they are in shell shock.
As he played a series of audio clips of media commentators suggesting a few weeks ago that Limbaugh calling Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke a slut was a gift and political opportunity for the president, Limbaugh said, One week after launching this all-out attack on your host a sure winner! Going to launch Obama and the Democrats back to electorate success! What happened?

I bought a pillow from TemperPedic instead of Select Comfort, and am buying a part for my stove from a local appliance dealer rather than directly from SEARS.
ALso am going to send QUicken Loans a nasty message on their advertisement letter.
Money talks, bullshit walks.
What station do you use to record Rush on Dar.fm? I recently started using Dar and not once have I been able to record his show. Dar always says “station unavailable”. Frustrating...
“OMG...this guy sounds like me!!!”
The first time my husband and heard him, we were in the car and I said - he says what I think - but better!!
THAT’s why we love Rush. Rush IS right and no, Don’t Doubt him. haa..........
No, they didn't. When an astonished audience saw itself lectured to by the likes of Gloria Steinem on the topic of civility toward the opposite sex, and by Jane Fonda on the topic of avoiding divisiveness, we found ourselves in a grotesque, parody-defying alternate universe of hypocrisy. You can't even make that stuff up - nobody would believe it.
Rush’s audience has not suffered much if at all has it? (I mean in numbers.)
In what way? She admitted she was a whore/slut on national TV. Rush just put it in the vernacular.
Not that I have heard. If anything, this has generated a larger audience. The sponsors are crawling back to him :)
Rush explained how the ads work. Most are local, some 18,000
of them. He has either replaced, or in the process of replacing the few he lost. No harm.
You had a Collins SW radio? Wow, those were good radios!
Indeed they were.
They are the poster hags of leftist hypocrisy.
Nobody but the idiot liberals gave a shiite, that is what happened. Most of the rest of Americans thought the slut descriptor was apt, and more so when they all found out she was no young coed, but a hardened and calloused political operator.
What they don’t know about Rush’s listeners is that we are probably the most knowledgable ppl in the country When it comes to the dirty dems. We know the tricks and we are not easily fooled. I can’t think of anything that would turn us away from him. He is our family member. We will stick with him all the way.
Yes and the race and sex haters, when they come out screeching, scare the heck out of normal people. The Left always overplays their hand when their back is against the wall - like now.
Several million? More like hundreds of millions.
“Fonda really needs to shut up and just go away. REAL Americans still hate her for her treason against our country.”
I’m just one of the many VN vets who will line up to p*** on her grave as soon as she assumes room temp.
Amen to that, Yaelle!
WBAP 820 AM is about as reliable as it gets. 11a-2pm CDT
I found Rush in May of '89 and have been listening ever since. He's like family.
Regarding the above mentioned quote, I'm always fascinated when Rush says that, because he's never wrong. I recall him talking about Fast and Furious months before it ever got legs and he said, "This whole thing is about undermining the 2nd Amendment. Don't doubt me." Lo and behold, a few months later that is where the conversation pointed. He doesn't use that phrase too often, but when he does it's purposeful and he knows he's right.
