In Mississippi, the democrats were given their own cards for the machine.
I'm not sure whether a vote could declare Republican or democrat on site, but I think you could.
The democrats had Congressional and a US Senate seat on their ballots.
At my precinct, I was Republican voter #59 and the democrats had over 200 voters.

The difference for Santo is in the Northeastern of the state that has given him edge in Mississippi, and most of those precincts are in. Newt is about 1% behind - he has a chance to make it up.
