"these (higher) prices could very well affect the comeback of our economy," he added." Wow. This man has the insight of a Nobel prize winner. What was your first clue, Sherlock? What a f*cking dope.
The US is absolutely doomed economically with clowns like this at the helm.

This clown is on the record all over the place calling for high gas prices and people getting out of their cars. Looks like the Regime is in panic mode over Obummers plummeting poll numbers.

Wow. They are completely unashamed of this tactic. They know that they can say "I didn't mean that before" and that will be the end of it.
Nothing has changed. They still subscribe to it. But they all have a good laugh when they get together for drinks. I can hear it now, all the libs talking over martinis: "Hahahahahaha! Er, no. I don't think it is an issue, why would you think so? Look, if it even makes it to the media, they would just say that point of view was a misstatement, and he changed is view years ago. Before he was hired even. If someone makes a stink, what are they going to do, post the video to the Internet where they can gripe about it? CBS will say that "Watchdog group Media Matters has found no evidence that anyone in the administration belives this is the way to go, and that extremists on the Internet are just trying to muddy the water..."

To a Democrat ideologue, such statements are just matters of convenience and can be likened to foxhole prayer (only Democrats don't really pray - not a one, really).
It is particularly evident now that Imam Obama has figured out that the price of gas does matter now in his re-election bid. If he gets re-elected this nonsense of low gas prices will disappear for real and permanently. It is in their DNA.

Hey Stevie boy,
I’ll know you mean it when your boss (1) allows more oil drilling, (2) allows more refineries to be built, and (3) approves the Keystone pipeline.
Until then, I’ll regard your statement as campaign talk with an expiration date in early Nov, 2012.

To: Nachum
Pffffft, Obama isn’t worried. Look, he told the UMW he was going to kill the coal industry. He is doing all he can to make good on that, and the UMW is still all in on Obama.
This is a minor hiccup that the enemedia will be charged with making go away.
