I like Hovde.

Thompson’s a RINO, I like Fitz where he is, and Neumann’s conduct in the gubernatorial primary against Walker has forever disqualified him in my mind.

It’s clear Neumann is all about Neumann; he got in the race for the ego gratification, not to advance the conservative agenda. Neumann could have run for Senate two years ago, and we would have all lined up behind him; So, why didn’t he? Instead, he ran against Walker, the principled conservative who had been campaigning for the job ever since taking one for the team in 2006.

I’m confused... what did Neumann say about Johnson? I don’t remember much about the gubernatorial primary since I was for Walker right out of the gate, but anyone who thinks that Walker was a poor choice for governor has some serious explaining to do if they want my vote.

I agree with you LouD. Fitzgerald is better staying where he is. We need good conservatives in the state.

And I also agree with you about Neumann. He could have shown his lack of ego by serving where he was needed running against Feingold.

I also remember the unethical push-poll calls against Walker as well. I received one of them.

I don’t live in Wisconsin, so you folks would have a better grasp on the details of the Republican primary candidates. However.....

I DO KNOW that Thompson is a CINO/RINO of the “manage the decline” model. While he would, of course, be better than Tammy Baldwin if he wins the Primary, I think that it would be far better that we not add yet another Murkowski wannabe to those already entrenched in the Senate. And I trust the thoroughness of DeMint’s vetting of the potential candidates—if Neumann is being endorsed by DeMint, that’s good enough for me. Also, Neumann seems to poll better than Fitzgerald against Baldwin.

I hope that this doesn’t turn out to be another case where multiple candidates split the conservative vote and the CINO/RINO gets in via plurality. I find those outcomes very disheartening.

Please, please ...... no more Richard Lugars or Lindsey Grahams.
