If Romney is the nominee, I will vote third party. Said it before, I'll say it again.
For those who cite SCOTUS nominations as a rationalization, let me remind you:
- William Brennan was a GOP nominee
- Warren Burger was a GOP nominee
- John Paul Stevens was a GOP nominee
- Harry Blackmun (author of Roe v Wade) was a GOP nominee
- David Souter was a GOP nominee
Now how many of them were nominated by conservatives? And how many nominated by "moderates"?

Exactly!
Obama gets re-elected and nominates a liberal justice and a Rep controlled Senate can fight it.
Romney gets elected and nominates a liberal justice and a Rep controlled Senate will confirm it.
All in the name of going along with the party line.

Now how many of them were nominated by conservatives? And how many nominated by "moderates"? Who nominated O'Connor and who nominated Thomas?
