Wrong!---The crowd was exceedingly with Rick Santorum...

...lots of applause, voices raised in agreement...listening to his every word.

His speech was awesome!

Trying to push propaganda to spin Santorum isn't going to get it Guenevere.....it was a no brainer Newt took the debate hands up as well as the audiance. That's what happens when you have a Seasoned well prepared Candidate who knows what he's talking about and one who is "trying" to remember what he's been told needs to be said.

Furthermore Santorum , let's say 'borrowed' Newt's lines time and again and obviously so....but could not make the delivery of them being his own.

I know what I heard on C-SPAN, and there was far and away more audible support for Newt than there was for Rick. Either you listened to a different feed, or something else is going on. This is not a bash on Santorum, by the way, I'm just stating that it was clear to me that Newt got far more audible support.

It's a shame he's such a stranger to the truth of his record.

From up thread, he's already lied about where he grew up and in this replay I've just seen him lie about why he's running, calling ObamaCare a game changer, after having endorsed it's father-figure Romney in 2008.

He's also never owned up to his push for mandates in the House in 1992 and his 1994 senate run, all maintaining he's always had clean hands on the issue and claiming to be "honest with the American people."

Q&A now.
