If there’s one thing I’ve figured out during the past 6 years it is to NEVER presume that stories of “massacres” on foreign battlefields are true. I think I’ll wait for all the facts to come in from sources I trust before I venture too far into this story.

You know that I have solidly supported the Haditha Marines for years, so you know that I agree with you about innocent until proven guilty.

Perhaps what I wrote was poorly written, but what I intended to say was that in the event of a murder, it is the murderer who should apologize and not his nation or his commander or his parents or anyone other than him.

They are not the ones who committed the alleged crime.
