I’m not sure what it was that jumped out at you, but I found the phrase “Please consider this request” at the end to be laughable given he’d already issued an ultimatum.
To: a fool in paradise
$10 says they aren’t the station’s advertiser’s supporters, anyway.
BTW, my phone’s been ringing all day, and none of *them* have called, yet, and I don’t expect them to call. That threat’s just lib-BS, as Rush’s advertiser-threats were.

Cripplecreek and those that mentioned the "I'll tell 10 friends and they'll tell 10 friends and so on and so on..." aspect of the letter came closest to what first jumped out at me.
For me, it was the quotation marks!
This moron. Actually, a moron-ette, (I assume it's of the female persuasion based on the spelling of its name) didn't even bother hiding any pretense that it's a chain e-mail.

IF this guy has 10 friends I can assure you they weren’t listening to Rush anyway.

You need “10 friends” for the program to work.
Else /EOJ!

As much as I support the fact that it's your right to air whatever programming you see fit, I called my mommy who is going to call her big brother...
As much as I support the fact that it's your right to air whatever programming you see fit, I don't support your right to air whatever programming I don't see fit.
To: gaijin
Since a lot of Rush’s advertisers are selling laundry detergent, deodorant, toothpaste and mouth wash, I would bet his “10 friends” are way ahead of him.

What jumped out at me was the reference to using the FCC to silence the station. The Administration has control of the FCC, and in any coup d’etat the opposition must be silenced. The opposition voice in America is now for all practical purposes relegated only to the internet and the radio........both are top targets of the DNC.

They also hate the term, people but loooove, THEEEE people.
And let's not forget that modern lefty Jean-Paul Sartre's quotation,
"Hell is other people."

Well, he has ten, twenty if you count his toes, but only three at a time fit on his tool.

Crowd psychology, propaganda, and manipulation of the masses have always been an interest of mine. The Obama administration and the left have given me plenty to study.
You might be surprised at how often its attempted here at FR. Sometimes a poster just gets my spidey sense to tingling and I go into research mode. Keep an eye on the national popular vote threads and you'll spot him. (he's all for it and he and his friends post the same exact things all over the net)

Please consider this request and consider the success of your radio station "Nice radio station you have here. Be a shame if anything happened to it."

What also caught my eye was the threat of reporting to the FCC - with a totally specious complaint. Rush is not required to broadcast “in the public interest”.
Only news and emergency information is “REQUIRED” - not talk radio or opinion radio.
That’s definitely a liberal statement. They want everybody to be “equal” .. NOT POSSIBLE.
I know this because I worked for a radio/TV complex in Oregon; however, the FCC is a political appointment and they can make up some really stupid rules.

"Nice radio station you have here. Be a shame if anything happened to it." No kidding. We get voice mails that are less nuanced than that but convey the same...ummmmm...concern.
