Copy that. Also, probably someone from the South or Midwest to shore up the different cultures. Maybe even a stronger conservative than Mitt himself, just to make the sale.

Hah! I was thinking exactly the same thing. On the surface, the two don’t get along at all, but think of what it would mean if Perry did become the VP pick.

Plus, if a deal was made with Perry before Texas votes, it would be game over.

Newt needs Texas, but if Perry (who now supports Newt) realizes Newt can’t get the delegate count, he might do it.

A lot is riding on Tuesday.

That is funny, but will never happen, Perry is finished on the national ticket. He went out with 4% support.

Short list for VP, regardless of who is at the top is Rubio, Perry, and Chris Christie. Florida is essential, Perry is an actual full-blooded conservative and not a wannabe, and Christie is the wild-card choice for a “game change”...
