What makes us think that Obama will debate Gingrich? He won't.Three debates are practicaly an institution now, and they most likely will happen, even if Gingrich is the nominee. I think Obama will be forced into them, like it or not.
And even if Obama decided just to blow them off, there are ways to handle that and Newt himself has addressed that issue by referring to the way Lincoln shadowed Douglas, who at first refused to debate.
