I was wearing black years before goth and emos existed. I’m wearing black jeans right now.

Makeup would have bought me a beating back in the 80s though.

What’s funny is that I recently was watching music videos from the 80’s. Remember when all the male singers wore black eyeliner? (I wear a lot of black as well. Not because it looks cool... it makes me look thinner!) It’s heck getting old.

So were Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison. Were they forerunners of goth and/or emo? Come to think of it, maybe Roy was with all the gloom and doom he embraced. But he roared it out, he didn’t whine about it.
