Sleep Train, one of the companies that dropped its ads from Rush Limbaugh's radio program after Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute," asked Limbaugh for another chance.
But Limbaugh denied the company's request.
(snip)
The Times added that Limbaugh spokesman Brian Glicklich forwarded an email he said had been sent to Sleep Train President Dale Carlsen. According to that email, Limbaugh himself considered the company's request and denied it.
Thank you for your requests last week and this week to restart your voiced endorsement in local markets of The Rush Limbaugh Show, the email began. Rush received your requests personally.
Unfortunately," the email continues, "your public comments were not well received by our audience, and did not accurately portray either Rush Limbaugh's character or the intent of his remarks. Thus, we regret to inform you that Rush will be unable to endorse Sleep Train in the future.

4) “Oh, s***, that hurts!”
5) “Can I have a mulligan on this thing?”
WHOO HOO! Mega No Sleep Train dittos, El Rushbo.

HEADLINE: Sleep Train Co Declares Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Hundreds Out Of Work.
Let Sandra Fluke pimp sleep train products.
Sounds like she’s an expert on beds and bedding.
THIS is how propoganda in the ol' USSR was handled, too, where "All good for the State" was all that was "reported as news".
Unfortunately, the couch potatoes, mushy-headed indoctrinated college fools, etc. are ALL in the pocket of the Progressive Machine, and vote for more handouts and freebies from the Taxpayers (whoever is left with income).
There are so FEW accurate news sources (internet and Talk Radio), that they continue to attempt to shut them down, however illegally they can.
HA!
I must humbly disagree with El Rushbo... unless the ad time has already been sold to another client... I feel Rush should forgive. Sleep Train made a mistake...as did he... time to kiss and make up!
Waa Waa Waaaaaaaaaa .............
Sean the “ad whore” will pick them up. Won’t work though. Hilarious!
“I was a return customer to this Sleep Train until their delivery crew tracked paint all over the stair runners in my new home. After going through the process and contacting customer service, I was asked to provide estimates for cleaning the damage. Needless to say it has been about three months and nothing has been resolved. I dealt with Liz in their customer service department, but it seems she applied to the wait-them-out school of hospitality.
There is a lot of competition out there and I recommend you take your money to Mattress Discounters or, dare I say, Mancini.”
A review on Sleep Train website. LOL
Fluke might have been a little more subtle than that, but still heh heh I see your point.
Sleep Train — the bed for unsluts.
Sleep Train is going to piss off some Hippies.
I mean fear of these Commies is why they bailed on Rush in the first place, right?
Rush did not make a mistake.
If he would have allowed them to return, it would have let this happen next there’s a controversy.
Rush’s response: A Sleep Train executive opens a package and it contains a dead fish, wrapped in the New York Times.
Rule #1 Sleep Train - look before you leap, think before you act like a creep.
Take out some ads professing Rush did NOTHING wrong and your knee jerk reaction was indeed wrong. You see it NOW as the left’s desire to shut down the BRILLIANT, and thus conservative, RUSH. Then we will think about returning you to the fold/show that has massive appeal.
I must humbly disagree with El Rushbo...
...it’s Rush’s show. He does what he wants. People think Rush has a boss. His only boss are advertisers. Rush just denied his boss AND made himself a hero, once again, with his listeners. What an excellent example of the free market!
