And it probably only cost the taxpayers $100,000 for the investigation.

BTW, Mr. Rogers - we have to increase your county property taxes this year, or we'll shut down the library and park the school buses.

Pay up. It's fer the chilrun.

I did note on the video from KVOA TV that a Pima County Judge dismissed a motion by attorneys representing the Pima County Sheriff’s department to dismiss the lawsuit brought by the widow of the X-Marine.

“BTW, Mr. Rogers - we have to increase your county property taxes this year, or we’ll shut down the library and park the school buses.”

After 5 years of declining property values, I finally had a small decrease in my property taxes paid this last year. My house is probably worth 50% (tops) of what it was in 2006, and my taxes are now 10% lower. The difference is due to rate increases.

Pima County has more debt that all the other counties in Arizona combined. It is also under the total control of Democrats. There is a reason Dupnik has been sheriff since 1980 - and it isn’t because we don’t have crime. It has more to do with his attacks on Palin after Giffords was shot...

I grew up on Gunsmoke and ADAM-12. I’d like to believe the cops are our friends. But the video I posted the link to is scary. If there was a commotion at my door like that, I’d grab my 44 and go to see what was happening - and I’d be shot by the SWAT team as soon as they busted the door down. Crime? Being willing to defend myself against unknown attackers...
