I'll bet the New American Police State would describe Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry and Benjamin Franklin as "“sovereigns” and libertarian wackos", when they weren't smearing them for being "slavers" and "drunken womanizers".

It makes it so much easier to justify killing you if you can be fit into one of the DHS categories for potential domestic terrorists, donchaknow? Makes it easier on the conscience as well, they call it “dehumanization”.
