Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith is endorsing President Barack Obama as part of an outreach effort by the re-election campaign to encourage continued support from the African-American community.
“I have the president’s back and it’s left up to us as African Americans to show that we have his back, also,” the coach says. “Join African Americans for President Obama today.”

So, blatently racial appeal. Imagine if a White coach came out for Romney or Santorum based on the fact that they are White. It would make the Rush “slut” controversy seem like the acoustic set before a Metallica concert!
Lovie is a dunce. Anyone who votes for Obama is a dunce.
Overt clearly declared racism.
He should be fired before the sun goes down.
Instead - we all look the other way.
By not firing - Bears organization condones racism - should be fined and penalized.
Imagine - Limbaugh couldn’t be an owner - but this DECLARED RACISM is OK?
Every whote player or coach who has ever been fired or let go by Lovie Smith - or the Bears - should immediately sue.
The guy just openly declared he makes decisions based on skin color.
That is illegal.
I bet there are some lawyers for the Bears spitting out their lattes tonight.

The irony is that had Ditka run for Senator against Obama, like many wanted, we would not have the clown in the White House.
