“preventing increasing numbers of children from being born in to lives of pain and despair.”

A completely inappropriate statement to make in a law review note. Why am I not surprised?

I looked at the article myself. Backing out the extensive footnote scribbling, it is about 3 and 1/2 pages long. Could have been written over a weekend, and this guy was the Editor?

Clearly you are not intelligent enough to recognize the brilliant mind that had to be behind writing such a statement! He was obviously showing off his superior intellect by inserting poor grammar AND personal opinions into a legal document so that the little people would be impressed! Sorry that it went over your head! /sarc/

He also decried any limits on abortion, saying the government has an interest in "preventing increasing numbers of children from being born in to lives of pain and despair."

There's something in the above comment that feels sad. Almost like he's coming from a place of his own pain. Anyone else read it this way?
