Will 2012 Be a Republican Year?

I sincerely hope not. The Republican Party has proven that they are NOT the conservative stewards of the government and are as bad or worse than the left. I would far rather that 2012 be a Tea Party Year.

However, barring that, our government needs a major overhaul and reset that takes us BACK to the original Constitution written and presented by the Founding Fathers. There are a few minor tweaks needed that eliminate the present situation, but those aren't the major issues; we need to get back to the government our Founders created, NOTv the government that the 'Pubbies and Dems have given us today.

RE: I sincerely hope not

Well if your hope becomes reality, guess whose year 2012 will be?

Primaries are the only way to change representatives.

The new Tea Party blood that has been in Washington since the last elections has given us legal unrestricted detention and assassination of citizens among other atrocities. There is no integrity in them. We work and elect our guys to Congress and when they get there they are not our guys anymore. The problem is that as Representatives they make lots of money working for companies and groups with money to give them and do not need to even be re-elected to lever themselves into the financial Elite of the society. Once elected they are quickly affluent.
