Well, Maher, as a professional scoffer, seems to realize that he’s an obvious target for a counter-campaign as part of pointing out the left’s double-standards, given that he has used more vulgar misogynistic language against conservative women.

But Maher’s statements come as a particular surprise given the significant divide between the two public figures’ political leanings...another surprising, almost gracious, defense of Limbaugh came yesterday from Bob Beckel on The Five - words to the effect that as one who has himself made many inapprorpiate statements in the heat of trying to make a contentious point and has had to apologize for them, I think now that Limbaugh has apologized we should all move on - could it be that the libs are seeing some polling data somewhere that suggests that this brouhaha is starting to make the entitlement mentality of the left too obvious to the man in the street and to hurt their cause????.....
