Look it up about Brit’s son. Very sad story. It’s murky why Brit blames Newt but I think the blame is misplaced.
But when you lose a dear son, and he was dear - was on Fox a lot - you have a lot of bitterness and want to blame someone.
Newt is not accused of having a hand in the suicide. It was a family secret Hume was attempting to keep...fat chance of that! He’s a major figure in politics on Fox News and he thinks he can keep a secret like that in DC?
Anyway, now it makes more sense as to why Hume is against Newt. He’s a petty kook and his personal resentment and twisted projection of that painful suicide onto Newt is of no real consequence to Newt’s performance as a conservative leader. Now it makes more sense.
