The ABC News politics and government teams offer a live fact check of President Obamas first press conference of the year, which takes place, coincidentally, as Republicans in 10 states are voting for which candidate they want to challenge him in November.
Fact Check 1 Millionaires and billionaires pay a lower tax rate than their secretaries. Fact Check 2 Its not a matter of if Bashar Assad will fall in Syria, but when. Fact Check 3 Iran is more isolated than ever. Fact Check 4 Obama Jukes Fluke Question and is there a war on women? Fact Check 5 U.S. Gas Production has risen and imports are down. Fact Check 6 Obama says he has had Israels back. Fact Check 7 Obama to Mitt Romney: Good Luck Tonight.
Fact Check 1 Millionaires and billionaires pay a lower tax rate than their secretaries.
This is a claim that has been repeated over an over by President Obama and Democrats. The reality is that some millionaires and billionaires likely pay a lower tax rate than their secretaries if they pay taxes at a capital gains rate. But as Jon Karl reported way back in September, it is not that many. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center has crunched the numbers and found that Warren Buffett and his secretary are the exception to the rule. For the most part, the wealthy pay a significantly higher percentage of their income in taxes than middle-income workers.

Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
They left this out of Fact Check 5. Oil production on Federal lands has fallen 17% since 0bunnyhop took office. The only lands he has control over.
Some good stuff here, but very mild criticism.
“sibilance...sibilance”
Fact Check 3 “Iran is more isolated than ever.”
The U.S. Agriculture Department ‘sells’ 120,000 tons of Red Winter wheat to Iran to be delivered by May 31, 2012.

The Wheat farmers will likely want that to go ahead unless someone else will pay ahigher price....didn’t Russia have a short harvest last year.?
Excellent picture. I am going to spread it around.
Who fact checks Fact Check?
Russia is always short. They cannot grow enough wheat to feed their own people even though they have the world’s largest amount of acreage planted in wheat.
Remember the “wheat deal” Russia received from us in the 70’s? We have yet to be paid back for wheat we ‘sold’ to them because the Russian people were starving. U.S.A. to the rescue! This wheat never reached the starving population because it was shipped directly from our ports to France and sold at a profit.
Screw Iran.
That is a pretty funny picture considering how the liberals got their panties in a bunch over the Arizona governor pointing at President Clusterfluke when they met at the airport not long ago and when he wanted to whine about her book.
