I guess they weren’t legion. More like a dozen guys in basements.

I truly hope they send these animals to prison for life.

It's about time these dopes got caught. Something tells me Hector isn't smiling anymore unless the Regime offers a plea deal so that he can work exclusively for the DNC and Rat machine.

If the FBI wants to they can monitor your specific connection, have been able to for years.
Without a warrant.

Yep. Sadly these “pro freedom” scumbags like Anonymous are the ones who threaten our freedom the most due to the fact that they provide the reason for government crackdowns.
If I were a wannabe dictator in a somewhat free country, I would quietly support this sort of thing to make the victims of hacking more likely to support giving up their freedom.

He’ll get WitSec and big $ from the govt, until *someone* (one of his former hacker-pals) finds and offs him.
To: cripplecreek
They already do. In China they are very blatant about it. In the they monitor and pretend they don’t. Its way too easy for them to resist. For our own safety ya know.

From the article: Internet criminals. “One was from New York, two of the other leaders were from the United Kingdom, and two were from Ireland. The fifth, more loosely connected arrestee was from Chicago.”
I get the NY & Chicago lunatics but Ireland? What did the US ever do to piss of freaks in Ireland??

Especially when his 300 lb cellmate, “Bubba”, tells him, “You sure got a purdy mouth!”

I'm not geek enough to make this work for your proxy comment, but for some reason, this quote from Dirty Harry came to mind.
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
I'm sure one of our resident computer experts could update it for the times.
