I don’t ever remember seeing bodyguards standing with Netanyahu during a speech given in US. He and his bodyguards looked nervous in the beginning of the speech.
Netanyahu seemed uneasy. I got athedistinct feeling that they had information about one or more specific credible threats and that he was giving the speech against the advice of his security team.
That said, Netanyahu didn’t disappoint. Israel will do what it needs to do to protect itself when it needs to do it, whether or not Obama Adm stands with him.
Obama, OTOH, gave an Alinsky-style campaign speech trying to convince Jewish voters that they are misinformed about his relationship with Israel. They and he have been the victim of bad press ( lol; lol), and he came to AIPAC to set the record straight.
Best Obama line (Alinsky-style): Don’t just listen to my words; watch my deeds. -— lol lol
We do watch his deeds ..... that's why he'll go down in the history books as King Putt. Nero fiddled .... Obummer putted.
Security here in NYC has been stepped up quite a bit. Noticed at Penn Station and in the subway. There was even a state trooper with a dog at the ramp of my dinky local NJ Transit station where I get on in the morning. Don't see that often.
