You can't fix the fiscal issues until corruption is rooted out, and corruption is not a fiscal issue but a moral and heart issue.

There is no point of cutting the budget, get rid of debt when people have not learned the lesson and corruption has reared it's ugly head again.

Getting away from God, falling away from our Nation's Moral Moorings is just exactly the reason why we find ourselves in this mess in the first place, you can't put the cart before the horse.
You can't not, nor will it ever be fixed until the moral issues are addressed first , and yes, Moral issue IS a issue of survival.

Would you give a known druggie your hard earned money to feed them ? and cloth them knowing that they will just spend the money on drugs anyway ?
How about someone who does not know how to manage their money ? and yes, managing your money is also a moral issue, because it leads to the matters of the heart.. your priorities... should they pay their bills or go take that same money and gamble it away ?
Should parents give their children their inheritance knowing that money would be spent unwisely ? got to teach them the morals of saving money, using it wisely.... it all boils down to morality.
