I wrote Samuel Adams...
Dear Samuel Adams,
I deplore you choice to be an advertiser for The Mike Malloy show because of his history of insensitive comments against people who oppose President Obama, are republican, are tea party, are conservative, are christian or are not a progressive liberal like him.
His recent comments calling Tornado victims all “”little grease spots on the pavement” put there by “their God” is offensive. He is basically attacking the states where the most tornadoes happen because they happen to be more conservative than he would like and as such he is making fun of the people in those states and their religious beliefs and insulting the dead tornado victims. Demeaning the dead who died horrifically. How sad and pathetic.
He said: “They keep being killed, you know their God, if this is where they want to look at it, keeps smashing them into little grease spots on the pavement in — uh — uh — in — in, you know, in ALABAMA and MISSISSIPPI and ARKANSAS and, uh, GEORGIA and, uh, OKLAHOMA, you know, the Bible Belt. ‘Where they ain’t going to let no goddamn science get in the way — it says in the Bible, blah blah blah blah blah!’
“So, according to their way of thinking, you know, God, with his omnipotent thumb, reaches down here tonight and so far tonight has smashed about 20 people into a grease spot on Highway 12 or whatever the hell highway they live next to. It’s sad, it’s so sad for this kind of nonsense.”
Insensitive comments and outrageous comments. People like Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes, and Ed Schultz are crazy sick twisted individuals who have a history of incendiary comments.
They are not interested in debate and in facts, but just attacking and de-humanizing the right and America to get their way. You should consider pulling your ads from this despicable show.
