I’m just overall sick of TV. I haven’t watched anything since Friday.
My kitties like it though. I’ll snap it on and turn off the sound. They reach out to the screen and try to touch the figures moving around.
The thing we used to watch together and enjoy was Tom and Jerry at 6:00 a.m. What the cats really enjoyed was all that fast racing around on screen between Tom and Jerry

I agree, Dana did a great job as Bush’s Press Sec....does not make her a good commentator on a news show. She remains shallow and not a deep thinker.

The Five is loosely patterned after The View. Of course they aren't Hollywood entertainers because FOX News IS basically a news channel where ABC is basically entertainment.
Beckel "plays" Hasselbeck...the lone dissenter.

I turn off,, or switch channels, of any show that pulls that. The Democrat shills are the worst at that. Lanny Davis, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Gloria Allred, and Alan Colmes are all famous for that.
I don’t ever watch the show (because I’m at work when it comes on), but I do hear it on XM sometimes, and it seems he brings a bit of needed sanity to the whole thing.

I enjoy the Five, but original thinking? You have exceptionally high expectations.
Have you noticed that you read articles and thoughts here on FR and then you hear them three to five days later on Beck, Rush, and Drudge?
The best in original thought can be found one FR and on other fringe web sites. You will never find them on TV.

well, you will need to record the 8 or 11 pm show like I do and then FWD through some segments. :) or settle for what fox shows online in addition to the talking points.
Perino’s pro-Romney bias is obvious to everyone, yet she denies it. Eric Bolling once made a comment along the lines of Drudge is indisputably in the tank for Romney, and Perino said that she would dispute it.
I’m not a Perino fan...elite establishment groupie.
I also dumped FOX in the AM. Reruns of the ‘Sopranos’ from 5-7 then ‘In the Heat Of The Night from 8-10 here.

LOL! I’m with ya, my minature Schnauzer is hooked on tv too. She watches the news with me and especially perks up whenever animals appear, usually in commercials. Btw, you will be sad to learn that yesterday Fox introduced a new morning show; Fox and Friends First, comes on at 4:00am cst. Has a couple of hot blondes for anchors :)

I discovered yesterday evening Tom and Jerry is now at a different hour (7:00 a.m. EST). I thought it was taken off for good. I missed it this morning due to some stupidity on my part. I now have a big note on my computer about snapping on Tom and Jerry at 7 a.m. Dang it. I too enjoy that cartoon.
My youngest kitten (kitten?) who is 6 months old and is about the size of a bear, will jump up on the TV set and look behind it. He figures if there something going on in front there must be something going on in back. He is not stupid. It does puzzle him when he can’t find the answer.
(No, I don’t have a flat screen. I’m not trading in my regular TV set for something more expensive since the lack quality of the TV programs remain the same.)

I snapped in on it for a few minutes (5:00 a.m. EST).
My personal opinion: What an awful mess. Two blonds with the same hairdo sitting at a round table…sitting so close they were nearly sitting on top of one another…a table that can sit 8 more people…, and were talking about nothing of real importance while the world is pretty much on fire. But then, I just saw a few minutes as the show got started. I just couldn’t take it any more.
The reason I like Shep Smith is because he stands (not sits) there alone and gives the news and not so much as a commentator but as a newscaster.
