I hate when Santorum lets moderators put him on the defensive and thus comes across as weak and ineffectual.
I hate it because he may be our nominee. Barring a miracle (which I’m kinda praying for) it will be Santorum or The Robot, so I’m wanting Santorum to get me to like him and man up.

altura, I watched the interview, and came out with a totally different perspective. Santorum did quite well, it was the interviewer that failed. Wallace was especailly combative over stupid issues. For heaven's sake asking Santorum about his charitable giving and comparing it to Romney's and obama's - why so cheap, Santorum? Santorum explained he spent a lot of money on his family (especially the disable daughter), IOW, taking care of his responsibilites. It wasn't enough for Wallace, he asked him the same question again, rephrasing it ever so slightly. Santorum explained it the same way. I was totally flummoxed why Wallace would push such a trivial issue and then look like a total jerk. It was strange.
Overall I thought Santorum did quite well. Wallace continued to try to trap Santorum, especially with the BC issue, but Santorum did not take the bait. At least that's what I took away from it.
