Rush would have been 33 in 1984 starting out at KFBK.

I think this was a Clear Channel hit, not a Dale Carlsen decision.

Rush always has iced tea to sell. I would rather he shrink in number of radio stations until this blows over. Money always wins.

If he can sell stuff, he will be on the air.

I would have told clear channel that they could either back me or I would take my show to Satellite radio and dump them. I would have told the CEO directly. Back me or the show goes dark starting Monday. Tuesday I ink a deal with Citadel Broadcasting Corp, Triton Media Group, or Satellite and we can spend the next ten years and tens of millions fighting it out in court.

Rush has a billion dollar property when you look at national and local advertisement sales, tie ins and potential to draw millions of additional subscribers to satellite And he can say anything he wants to say.
