Come on, people. Rush has a boss. He was forced to do this. The lawyers showed him how he was in violation of contract (I don’t know his contract but it could be something as simple as a behavior clause) and rush had no choice.
In la we just had John and ken off the air for 2 weeks, because John called Whitney a crack ho.
Rush isn’t a wimp. It’s not his choice. But he needs to stay on the air.
If he lost any sponsors, he'd replace them almost instantly. He'll not lose any/many listeners, so he'll have sponsors. Monday tune in will be a tad on the huge side.
I know Rush isn't a wimp. I'm not certain that I know what the correct decision here should be. My husband thought Rush should have never reduced himself to calling this idiot fraud (Fluke) a "slut". I personally didn't have a problem with that label for her. "Fraudulent Slut" would've been better, IMO.
I think Rush probably could have found other sponsors... he could start by advertising his own "Two if by Tea" tea products.
