Yes, the VAST MAJORITY of so-called “Santorum delegates” are simply unbound delegates that can vote for whomever they choose on the convention floor.
Can someone satisfy my curiousity here?
I recall that Gov. Perry picked up a couple of delegates before he withdrew. If they were solid delegates, (I don’t know that they were) what happens to their vote in the first round of the convention?
Do they have to vote Perry, or can they, as he withdrew and threw his support to Speaker Gingrich do likewise?
