I have four daughters.
The oldest is a practicing lesbian and is goingto DC later this month to be legally married to her partner. I love them both, although they do limit the amount of contact they have with us.
Two of my daughters have had a total of three children out of wedlock. My grandchildren are the joy of my life.
One daughter had two abortions. One I knew about and tried to prevent. She now regrets both and she is a newly minted conservative.
I have nephews in the military. I pray for their safety and respect their willingness to serve.

That statement also reveals the truth of the human condition. We all want to be God and modify reality to what we wish it to be! True conservatives recognize that impulse in themselves and work against it often thru adherence to a faith and deeper walk with the True God. Most liberals simply give in to that impulse!
