Aww ..thank you. He was all that .. and
more. Now, we fight on... for we must. And
the Breitbart sites will live on, as they
must, carrying Andrew’s blazing torch of
truth.

It will be interesting to see who picks up his mantel and runs with it. He is not a man one could replace by any means. Truly one of a kind.

I think I may have corresponded with AB once on FR. When I found out that Orson Bean was a conservative, I expressed my incredulity. The poster said “I know him well, he loves Dick Cheney, and...he’s my father in law”.

I always loved Orson Bean. He was funny on the old game shows....I remember him from waaay back on the Johnny Carson show. He is what made me decide to get a little smarter and use those smarts to be humorous. I guess I’m still funny, most of the time.

I am so saddened by this news, Andrew was one of the few that awake from his liberal slumber and became a crusader for America and conservative values.
God rest his soul and prayers to his family. :-(

Wow, if Orson Bean is a conservative, that’s quite a turn around. On his wiki site, it says that he was blackballed from Hollywood in the 50’s due to attending a couple of communist party meetings.

Thanks! I knew she looked familiar but I couldn’t place her.

I always liked Orson Bean, too. Didn’t realize he was still around.

Orson Bean had to be in either
The Love Boat or
Love, American Style. (I think it was a character actor law back then...)
I did see him recently showing up at Charlie Sheen's door as the angry husband of a much younger lady who had just spent the night with Charlie on Two and a Half Men...

Speaking of Andrew's family connections, one of the articles yesterday said that although he had been adopted and raised by the Breitbart family -- Jewish -- Andrew was at least partially of "Irish" genetic stock. Moreover, his biological father was described as a folksinger. One wonders if the true identity will ever be revealed?

Yeah, my first thought was how whacko-liberal this guy was ... and maybe still is.

Wow, if Orson Bean is a conservative, thats quite a turn around. On IMDB it says "Though blacklisted for his outspoken liberal views in the early 1950s, he had become an ardent supporter of Richard Nixon during the 1968 Presidential election year."

I have always thought that he looked more Irish than Jewish. Rest in Peace, dear Andrew. I hope you are looking down and seeing how much you are missed.
