When an individual passes away, regardless of his of her ideological positions, one would expect he or she would receive respect. In the case of new media mogul Andrew Breitbart, who died early in the morning on Thursday, there has been a surge of vile commentary spewing across the Twitterverse. From comparisons to Hitler to individuals tweeting that they are content the pundit has passed, the messages are disturbing at best.

When Rush Limbaugh went to rehab, when President Reagan passed, and at other such times, the same pattern has shown up. It's very troubling.
We can disagree, strongly and passionately, without resorting to this kind of nastiness. Goodness knows, I have strong opinions and they're strongly held. I'll argue for my opinions with passion and conviction. And I have many friends with whom I disagree on many things.
I would never cheer for something like this. I don't know many people who would. But this pattern of behavior continues to show up, and much as I dislike pointing it out, mostly on one side of the aisle.
Thank you, Andrew Breitbart. In your untimely passing, you have exposed these people one last time.

for your personal sanity, if you identify a progressive / liberal in your life, avoid them at all costs. if you’re doing an interview, do not hire them. if they’re in your company, do what you can to get them on a dying branch.
the libs have been doing this to conservatives for decades. it’s about time we do the same to them.

What is glossed over with the term Progressivism is just old fashioned Stalinism. The type of evil politics George Orwell condemned in the West in several famous books with titles like 1984 and Animal Farm.
There is no tolerance for difference of opinion from The Party. That Communist Party infiltration of the Democrat Party takes no prisoners. Nancy Pelosi is happy to see the so called “moderate” Democrats leaving Congress this term.
I actively avoided reading any lefty sites today to not see this sh*t. I’m sorry you felt like bringing it here. We all already know what the left is made of, and it’s far from sugar and spice and anything nice.
The Left is still angry that Breitbart’s team exposed corruption at ACORN and Planned Parenthood of the type that encouraged rape, human trafficking, fraud, and genocidal abortion donations.

We all expected this behavior from the godless left, whose most sacred value is aborting innocent human life. They are pure evil.

I saw plenty of it on Facebook. Lefties who think nothing of insulting half of their friends.
Once upon a time America was a land blessed with a population of decent people. It has not been so for some time. The decent people remaining cannot grasp evil as it exists today. When they think ‘evil’ their minds immediately think of a Hitler or Ted Bundy, not their next door neighbor. But their next door neighbor is the man or woman that enables the Hitlers and Bundys of the world. Without their evil the tyrants could not arise.
To watch this madness unfold repeatedly is a living lesson in how ‘empires’ fall and decent people become subjugated, persecuted and ultimately eliminated.
I hope that decent people have the strength to set aside their inherent ‘trust’ that their fellow man shares their beliefs because he does not. See these evil people for who they really are...The enemy of everything right, just and true in the world.
And fight them.
