So this dude decided to look at the issue through the eyes of his children and other young people? Is that a smart thing to do?
I’ve learned that some of the people who think they are the smartest people alive are teenage girls. They feel they have greater knowledge and wisdom than eveybody else. Do we want teenage girls making our laws and social policies? Is that what he is saying? We’re going to see how young people feel about an issue and vote accordingly?
And what’s this about expressing love and all that? The way this issue gets discussed is so distorted. This issue has nothing to do with consenting adults expressing whatever they want to express behind closed doors. The issue is how society and the law defines marriage. People are free to have whatever relationship they want to have, the issue is how does the law view that relationship, not whether they are allowed to have that relationship.
According to a Massachusetts study of homosexuals in that state, only 20% of all homosexuals in monogamous relationships are married. That’s not 20% of all homosexuals, that is 20% of all homosexuals who say they are in a relationship.
So it appears that the gay activists are fighting hard for homosexual marriage. Then, once that right is gained, they decide they don’t really want to be married. Isn’t that interesting?
I guess they realize that no matter what the laws state marriage is for a man and a woman. You cannot fool your inner being.
