A Democratic state senator wants to allow Nurses and midwives to perform early abortions.
Senator Christine Kehoe says 'non-doctors' should be allowed to perform some abortions in the first trimester.
Right now only doctors and surgeons are allowed to carry out the procedure.
Right in your own damn living room while you watch disgusting housewives of Orange county.

So what if a nurse or midwife doesn't want to perform them?
Sounds like a smart idea to allow performing life threatening (to the mother) surgery in buildings that potentially lack doors wide enough to allow gurneys in or out in an emergency. Oh I forgot, there are actual abortion clinics now that have this problem.

four of my children were delivered by these “barefoot” doctors.
Actually - they aren’t doctors.
They are certified nurses who furthered their education to assist in delivery.
They work in a OB/GYN office, under the guidance of an OB/GYN.
If a situation is normal...natural childbirth with or without administration of some IV drugs - they handle the whole delivery.
When things get more complicated - they call in the doctor.
My guess is....most women become midwives because they enjoy watching new life coming into the world.
I cannot picture the midwives I came to know wanting to have anything to do with abortion.
Kehoe is a radical lesbian. She doesn’t know much about birthing babies. She started out on the San Diego city council representing the homo district. Many of the worst in Sacramento got thier start in a city council.

I remember when Democrats used to demand legalized, clinical abortion saying it was necessary to avoid dark alleys and coathangers. Looks like now they want to legally expand abortion access to include dark alleys and coathangers.

Now the nurses or midwives can take the blame and receive the lawsuit should problems arise. Smart doctors will be hoping for this.
Isn't this a lot like what the Pharaoh expected of the midwives in Moses’s time? Kill the Jewish babies. When they didn't do it, the Pharaoh called them to task for it.
How many Democrat politicians would would make the same demands these days? The very ones who support Planned Parenthood in their grisly endeavors wouldn't blink an eye. I expect that the vast majority of Democrat politicians wouldn't have a moral objection at all for requiring nurses and midwives to be forced into the abortion business to meet the “need” and maintain a “woman's right to choose” to kill her unborn child.
There will be a shortage of doctors and surgeons when Obamacare kicks in. I’m not sure they would make killing babies a priority in a time of shortages.
