Question about ammo. How long does brass ammo, 9MM, .45 etc. and shot gun shells last in storage? Do they go bad, become unusable over time? I have plenty of firepower, but was wondering how long I could expect to be able to store the ammo.

If you keep it cool and dry, it should outlast you. There is 70 year old ammo being used today, and it works fine.

ten years ago i got a deal on a wwi 7mm mauser plus 500rds of ammo from the same era...i didnt use a couple that small cracks around the neck but not a dud in the rest
