NewsBusters reported Friday that Oscars host Billy Crystal intended to mock GOP "idiots" during Sunday's awards presentation. Roughly forty-five minutes in, Crystal was true to his word taking a cheap shot at the Republican presidential candidates (video follows with transcript): Billy Crystal: A dark knight, an American psycho, a charismatic crack addict. You'll get to choose one on Super Tuesday. And of course the audience found it hysterical.

My wife had it on in the next room. I happened to walk through on my way to the kitchen and heard him talking about Harry Potter making several Billion dollars. Then he cracked that “and he only had to pay 14% taxes.” Lame-o.

One of the worse offenders IMO is the popular late night show CoastToCoastAM that claims to be nonpartisan. But more often than not it's like Saturday's guest who declared that the Bush Administration was full of psychos and George Bush is a psycho.. saying that as a youth Bush blew up frogs with firecrackers and on and on for several minutes with reasons why Bush is a psycho.
Listener emails forced the host to ask about Obama -- Obama has traits of a psycho.
I can see how people make that mistake, said the guest. Obama like all of us may have faults but he is not a psycho. The clown claimed that he read Obama's books and anyone who can write like that is definitely not psycho. Well at least now we know that Bill Ayers is not a psycho.
Yeah, C2C listeners may be kooks but they vote and several thousand may have just decided to vote for Obama.
