An excellent point. The Obama Administration no doubt looks on college employees (especially public ones) as a key constituency. Nudging more people into college keeps that constituency afloat. And (as RS said), it serves to indoctrinate the students. It also loads them down with debt, which makes them all the more radical and angry when they can’t find jobs with their Sociology degree. For the Libs, its a win/win all around.
