He has the power of satan, whom he likely believes mistakenly to be God leading him on his enchanted journey to “fundamentally transform” this horrid nation.

I recall some “religious” comment he made to the effect that all religions led to the supreme being. That was all the red flag I needed. A real Christian politician in a secular government (I know- a whole other discussion!) finds a tactful way to skirt such issues.

IMHO, he is not yet invested with the power of Satan. He is an obedient servant...but he does not yet possess Satan's power.
